Formed in the 1960s as a result of the Anti-Vietnam War movement
Goulds has changed names a few times and locations many times
before opening in the current iconic building in 1989.

Rising rents have caught up with us and the shop is moving to

536 King St in south Newtown

That's opposite Alice St near the New Theatre.

We will be having a sale - everything half price - for a week from Saturday, 4th August.

We would like you to join us in farewelling the building at 32 King Street Newtown.

We will also be remembering Bob Gould as we are moving to a new shop at 536 King Street Newtown (3 doors north of New Theatre and opposite Alice Street).

We look forward to seeing you this coming Saturday August 4th between 6 and 10 at 32 King Street.

We will also be raising funds for the Bridge for Asylum Seekers - both Natalie Gould and Mairi Petersen were founding members of the Bridge.

If you want to share memories of the shop or of Bob please feel free to come to the party.

Donations to the Bridge are welcome - $10 for unwaged and $20 for waged people.

Please call either Zac on 0419041830 or Natalie on 0407204509 if you are coming, The evening is being hosted by the Sydney University Labor Club.

We will be closing at 9pm Sunday - Wednesday and 10pm Thursday - Saturday.
